Massage Therapy and Bodywork
Lomi-Lomi Deep Tissue Massage (Hawai’ian Style) The Ancient Hawai’ians believed that the body was the temple of the spirit and that any dysfunction or pain within the body temple required healing of mind, spirit and body. In Lomi-Lomi bodywork, ideally, the client will have the opportunity to release not only muscle tension and realign structurally, but to reconnect with his or her own soulful nature.
CranioSacral Therapy CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle approach to releasing and realigning bones and soft tissue in the CranioSacral (head to sacrum) system. A seemingly simple method of hands-on techniques imparts amazing benefits to the entire body and enhances a state of well-being and healing.
Reflexology The ancient art of Reflexology (manipulation of reflex points of feet and hands that relate to specific organs and body parts) is another modality by which the entire organic system benefits, body awareness is enhanced and a heightened sense of relaxation is achieved.
The healing art of Thai Yoga Massage is a wonderful method of remaining flexible and organically healthy. Thai Yoga Massage is an effective way for clients to receive the benefits of yoga stretching while passive movements relieve them of having to make any effort in order to eliminate resistance and stress in muscles and joints. Immediate results can be seen and felt by increased range of motion in joints, muscle tension relief, sciatic relief, spinal stretch, opening and release and a very deep sense of relaxation, breath expansion and sense of well-being. All work is administered on a comfortable, oversized thai yoga stretch mat with the client wearing comfortable loose fitting clothing. Remarkably with Thai Yoga Massage, the giver is also receiving some of the same benefits while giving the treatment as a result of his/her own yogic body movements.
